I am excited to launch Part One of Exhibitsmith’s Take Control of Your Stuff, an interactive resource guide full of practical information, case studies, worksheets, planners, exercises, and resources that have been carefully developed to help you better understand, care for, preserve, and even downsize your personal treasures, family heirlooms, and cherished collectibles.
This is not a “how to declutter your home” resource. Instead, Take Control of Your Stuff tackles the objects that pull at your heartstrings, that you know (or think) you should prioritize, or are having trouble downsizing. After 25 years of working in and around museum and archival collections and heirloom preservation, I am using my professional and personal experience to write the playbook to help individuals like you tackle their own collections.
